SARASOTA/BRADENTON, FL – While area families have settled into their back to school routines, this time of year can be financially difficult and stressful with clothing and supply costs impacting families’ bottom lines. Goodwill Manasota is committed to helping to ease some of the economic challenges faced by area residents through special promotions during the Labor Day long weekend.

On Saturday, September 5, Goodwill’s bookstores will offer 25% off merchandise. On Labor Day – Monday, September 7 – Goodwill Manasota’s major retail stores will be open, offering 50% off all apparel.

“We know that every dollar counts for the families in our community – between children growing out of their clothes and schools requesting long lists of needed supplies, late summer can offer great challenges for those on a budget,” said Bob Rosinsky, president and CEO of Goodwill Manasota. “Our 50 percent off sales are extremely popular and helpful for families looking for great clothes at bargain prices. Plus it’s fun to shop at Goodwill – we look forward to welcoming the community at our locations on Labor Day!”

Exclusions apply; please check with your store location for details. For more information or to find a convenient Goodwill location, go to www.experiencegoodwill.org.
