SARASOTA/BRADENTON, FL – On Thursday, September 24, Goodwill Manasota, Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida and PayServ will present the “Women’s Leadership Symposium.” The event, which takes place at Gulfcoast Event and Conference Center (4740 Cattlemen Road, Sarasota) from 9am-1:30pm, will feature nationally recognized motivational speaker and author Cathy Holloway Hill.

Hill’s presentation, titled “Living by Design,” will cover topics including owning your identity, discovering your brand Y.O.U. (your own uniqueness), designing smart goals to align with their M.A.P. (mindset, actions and purpose), discovering their leadership DNA, and more.

“Women are immeasurably important, we have nothing without them,” stated Todd Saylor, president and CEO of PayServ Systems. They are immeasurably strong, they are infinitely wise in life, and they never quit! Seventy-five percent of PayServ’s workforce is women and it’s a luxury working with them. PayServ is committed to building our company through a talented female workforce while recognizing the special powers possessed and shared by them.”

“We are so excited to partner with PayServ and Goodwill to bring Cathy to Sarasota for this program,” said Sue Stewart, Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida CEO. “Even now, it’s a revelation to many women once they start looking inward to discover their own talents, strengths and goals, and realize their own vast potential to be leaders. Through events like this one, we are empowering women to step forward and be the future leaders of our community.”

Hill is founder and CEO of C. Holloway Hill Enterprises, a personal and professional development organization specializing in corporate training, and career/life coaching. Hill walked away from a lucrative corporate career with IBM to become an entrepreneur. She is an experienced and Certified Life Coach, trainer, EmPOWERmentor, talk show host, and keynote presenter. Hill holds a B.S. in Computer Science, a Masters in Psychology, and multiple coaching certifications.

“Goodwill’s mission is to change lives through the power of work and I believe that there is no greater career resource than one’s own belief that success is attainable,” said Goodwill Manasota Foundation vice president Veronica Brandon Miller. “By bringing speakers like Cathy Holloway Hill to our community, we can empower women who may already have skills and experience but would find great benefit from the motivation and encouragement to step forward as leaders at their business or organization.”

Additional sponsors include Sabadell Bank and accommodations sponsor Comfort Suites. Cost for the event is $40; includes handouts and lunch. RSVP requested by September 22. To register, call (941) 355-2721, ext. 104 or visit experiencegoodwill.org/events.
