United Way Suncoast and Goodwill Manasota are proud to continue their collaboration through the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, providing completely free tax preparation to qualifying individuals and families.
Who Qualifies for This Free Service?
This vital service is designed for low- to moderate-income community members. If you earn $96,000 or less annually, you are likely eligible. The program is especially crucial for ALICE households (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed)—working individuals and families who are still struggling to cover the basics.

What to Bring to Your Appointment
Be sure to have your government-issued photo ID, Social Security cards for all household members, all tax documents (W-2s, 1099s, etc.), and bank routing and account numbers for direct deposit.
